Why Privatize Licensing?

The City of Pasco chose to privatize animal licensing beginning in 2018 to promote animal licensing, to provide additional services to its citizens, and to increase the cost-effectiveness of the program.

Some of the additional services available are online licensing 24/7, one or three year licensing option, convenient payment methods including credit cards, shorter lines at City Hall for utility and other customers, professional call center, and an online tag search to speed the process of reuniting a lost pet with its owner.
