Refunds
A refund may be available for the following reasons:
- If a duplicate payment was made for the same pet and the same license term. Be sure to include the pet's current license tag number if it is available, and as much information as possible regarding your payments.
- If the pet owner lived outside the City of Rocklin at the time of licensing.
- If the pet died within 60 days of the owner paying for the license.
Partial refunds of 2- or 3-year licenses are allowed if the refund is requested within the first 12 months of the license. Partial refunds are allowed for the following reasons:
- The pet is deceased.
- The pet was given away or lost.
- The pet owner has moved outside the city limits of Rocklin.
